yes many characters are masher characters, but that doesnt mean its the ONLY way to play those chars, thats just how scrubs play them, if you go on to www.soucalibur.com forums and check out the last ucla tournament, it was a maxi player who won it, and he DOESNT mash at all, he knows how to poke and stuff, all characters can be used well, but alot of them can be used really scrubby as well, and no this game can not be won merely by a few good moves, it can only be one by a few good moves IF YOU SUCK or your opponent does, if you watch high level gameplay, you will never see just 2-3 moves being used, play more in the arcade, and see how the top players play, you'll see they dont mash when using masher characters, and they dont just use 2-3 moves, and all moves have a counter too, both those nightmare moves you mentioned as "cheap" can both be GIed backwards or forwards since they are both mid, and you can sidestep both, although the 360 one is harder to time, but thats the skill of getting better, i really dont think these games should be judged if you dont have that much experience in the game, if you play regularly in the arcade and actually go to tourneys then thats a different story
p.s. Yunsung is ranked one of the worst characters in sc2 |
