6 Month Anniversary of GameCube!

6 months ago today on Sun. Nov. 18th the GC launched (US). I can't help but to so far be very disapointed in my purchase, but it's early in its life cycle so we shall see....

What has everyone compiled for their GC collection so far?

Me:

1 Indigo GC + controller
1 Spice (orange) controller
1 59 Memory Card

Star Wars Rogue Leader
Super Monkey Ball
Pikmin
Smash Bros. Melee
NBA Street


I also have rented Lugi's Mansion, and RE (and played a number of others)... RE kicks so much ass. It has given me hope for the future of GC...


GC's first month was great. I'd say B+ level. But since then, GC has been dead quiet. So overall as of *now* I'd grade the GC a 'C'.

C? wow i would expect much much lower from you bone. Well I cant honestly rate GC because ive been working more on site development and trying to get all this crazy graduation stuff done (senior activities and college). Not to mention the fact that the last 2 times ive played a game, it was mario all stars. So I think a fair rating of C would be good but although there hasnt been a game worth purchasing since december IMO, it doesnt affect me TOO much. With that said, bring on e3.

D'oh... well it was supposed to say C-, but whatever. It's a mute point.... It has just enough with the likes of Monkey Ball, Pikmin, and now RE to keep it's head above water (ie above a D).

Like Hy, i have been busy with Senior stuff. Just got done with prom, 2 days ago did the disneyland Grad nite thing (that was fun, all senior chicks!) less then a month before graduation! And I have been working at my computer job alot lately, so i really haven't put much time into playing my games.

GC hasn't been all I had hoped for, but you can't really kick them in the a$$ too much, all gaming systems go thru this type of drought after the first month.
