50 daily viewers! ...and VG News headlines....

Well, for those that come here (ie no one but me), last week (April 28 - May 4) the site average nearly 50 unique viewers a day! Yay! So far this week the trend seems to be continuing. What has cause this, well it would be nice to know but it's really a mystery at this time. Just whatever you're doing, keep it up:) The key though will be to substain this trend over the coming weeks. If this can be done maybe we can push our goal to a higher level... but right now just keeping this would be nice...

Also, does anyone care about VG news anymore? Sure news is slow, but posting in those areas has been even slower. GC news has been decent, but PS2/Xbox has been compeltly dead. My posts in those (1 each) has been like the only posts in them in the past month! It would be nice to see something at least every week or so... It's not a big deal, if you see something interesting, just post it! Then again submissions have been ssllooww too...

*EDIT* Quick note on site viewers. The most popular page of course is the home page itself, but what's second? That 'inbox' page... WTF? Who all knows this even exists now? How did they find it? Don't know how this happened... Second... While this viewer increase is encouraging, the average page views per person is less then 2. Which means a LOT of people come to the site and never click on anything or read anything. Maybe they get tired of waiting for the page to load and leave? Who knows....

What the hell..in reference to that edit, I still think the inbox page should be password protected to only officials. That page is just to make things easier in getting things put up on a the site at a decent schedule. Other than that, I dont know whats making people check out the site, but yeah...keep that up..and if you're sitting on your fat ass, keep it up!

Well I tried password protecting the inbox folder, but didn't like that because it doesn't allow people to 'preview' their article right after they submit them then.... I think I might just change the URL to a less obvious one and see if that helps any... I mean it doesn't bother me if people see that page and what's up coming or even reads them, all that bothers me is that it's the second most popular page.... Well so far this week it's #4 behind the home page, PS2 News, and the Guild home page....
