a little more than 100,000 bells and I will have paid off my expanded room. Then I get the basement which i hear is just under 50,000 so I should have my 2nd floor very soon after that. I got the game September 30th, so I'd assume you're doing well no matter when you got it.

i got it 2 weeks ago and i just paid off my 400,000 dollar 2nd expansion by fishing...the same way i paid the other ones off...

but yeah...when you get the choice pick the basement first if you want to expand faster...

I'm around the same place as hy, i got about 110k to pay off, i get lots of money by selling non-native fruit, 15 of any non-native fruit will get u 7,500 bells, and if you have lots of trees that grow them, its a nice pay. so ill probably have my debt payed off in 2 more days.

I built a basement, now im paying off my 2nd expanded 1st floor, so I'm close to a 2 story house.

yeah the 2nd floor is the last expansion...and it is 798,000!!!!!!
