F2S to end Free hosting...

Well, ignore that previous post about F2S free servers turning to crap, cause now in Feb 2002 they are shutting them down completly so we have no choice but to move. Blarg. That leaves us over 2 months... but we better start looking now cause it could take some time.

I really don't know of any good free web hosting services, so I'll have to look or get help;) Ad banners suck, but if we have to have them, the pop-up type is preferred (in-page ads mess up our layout and layovers like Geocities can be annoying too). If we REALLY have to, we (meaning anyone but klam;) may have to pony up a few bucks for hosting. For F2S it costs about $50/year, not sure what it all includes. I do know we need:

*At least 20megs of space (closer to 50 or more preferred)
*Lynix/Apache servers preferred
*CGI/Perl (including Sendmail)
*PHP (MySql would be nice but not nessasary at this time)
*Obviously FTP access

More as it develops... sigh.
