Feels like I should post something here to make use of this wonderful board....

Everyone knows NOG used to be Nbrid Online Gaming (coughclancough), but this is an all "new" NOG.

The 'new' NOG: NBrid's weblog. Think Slashdot and numerous other sites out there. I figure if NBrid can't pull off a unique website, why not try one of the most common styles! But the plus is people will be able to post whatever, whenever they want! It was first suggested by an anonymous member, so blame him.

It's very simple in how it works, and in how it looks. Evo won't be lost though. There will be a link to 'Retro NBrid' in NOG or even a splash page that links to the various factions of the new NBrid (boards, NOG, Evo). Stay tuned as it is unveiled in the near future!

well we do need SOME kind of online gaimng SOMETHIN so we can enter tourneys and stuff.maybe some spinoff clans or some divisions?

No subdivisions or anything like that. We can use NB tags but thats about it. We can get people to join if they want to but the online gaming element will forever be downplayed.


I've made mistakes. I've done some things that I wish I could go back and change; but now I'm here and I know that I can learn from those things that I've done.

What I think Hybrid means is we are a gaming community sensitive to everything going on in the world of gaming. And as such online gaming will be a part of NBrid since everyone knows (well everyone but Nintendo) that online is the next step in console gaming. It will have it's own section/topic in NOG, but it will be no different then then the review section really. So as to give even emphasis to everything (as opposed to in a "clan" being the center point, nor will it be "down played" either really).

Yeah somehow bone got to what I was saying. Online gaming for NBrid is just like another section, not a major part. Thats what I meant by down-played. Wrong term I guess :/
