Finally got a HDMI cable for the 360

Vigilante 8 Arcade has N64 expansion pack framerate/slowdown issues in HD. Yikes!

I have my ps3 setup with hdmi and my 360 with component cables. The only time you notice a difference is when a game is running in 1080p and almost NO games run in 1080p (natively).

What kind of TV do you have? I've never heard of a game looking worse by upgrading to HDMI. What did you have before composite or component? I don't have a 360, but maybe you need to adjust something there? Maybe your TV needs adjusting? Do you have one of those 120hertz TVs? Turn that off for games. Better yet, see if there's a Game Mode you can turn on.

I have my PS3 hooked up via HDMI (and a 2nd longer HDMI for my laptop when I want it, for Hulu!) and it looks great on my Samsung.

No no no, the video quality is a definite upgrade.

I'm just saying it exposes polygon seams and edges that I wouldn't have seen on a SDTV (and didn't until now).

The intense action of V8 in hi def brings the 360 to its knees. That's the first slowdown I've ever seen on this system lol
