Now it's hurting me not having a next-gen system....
It was hard enough not having V8:Arcade, now I'm gonna have to crack and buy an xbox 360... |

Dammit. And I only have a PS3 so no kicking Tork's ass at SF4. Just like I used to back during the UT days...
Not that I have SF4. Instead I bought something called Noby Noby Boy. And right now the only thing I can say is... what the fuck was that in the lower right corner?!?! |

360? Oh well... I think Hybrid has it on PS3. I don't know for sure, just I thought I saw him online playing it...
I still don't have it though. I just haven't been motivated to get it. I used to love SF. SF2T was awesome back in the day, but I didn't even get the HD Remix. I went looking for my copy of Third Strike on DC, but I can't find it. That sucks. Maybe that's a sign I need SF4... But I also loved VF3-4, and never could get into VF5.
Is SF4 better than Britney's Dance Beat? |

Jesus christ this is YOUR street fighter topic and YOU'RE talking about another game. Let me amend your previous calculations. Ahem..
SF4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

>Britney's dance beat.
I bought it a day early at a certain gamestop that was getting them early. Jerkasses that I work at (once a month) didnt get it until the next day. Basically I bought the PS3 version because I have my modded PS2 stick that I use for fighting games, but all of my friends got it on 360 so I borrowed a 360 copy from MY gamestop since I have some mod parts coming in the mail for my 360 stick any day now.
Long story short, I have it on 360 now. I really REALLY didn't expect it to be so ridiculously good. Online play can be a bitch if your opponent refuses to open up ports for online play though *cough.*
Losing to predictable Kens online is embarrassing, but I still end up doing it over and over again... |

Damn you people and your 360s!!!
That said I still don't have the game. Who knew this would sell out? Seriously I can't remember the last time I couldn't walk in a store and buy the game I wanted (no Tork, I didn't want Wii Fit). At least at the 3 stores I tried.
Though I was hoping to get it at Best Buy where I have a $10 RZ coupon. This is why I usually buy shit online. But I want this game now! |

SHOULD HAVE RESERVED IT! AHAHAHAHAHA
Seriously check Sears or Target if you haven't already. Hell, 7-11 might have it.
Yesterday my 360 red ringed...but it worked after a few tries and has been working today too. It's my 2nd one but I am anticipating another one very soon. |

The Best Buys/Gamestops here had stacks and stacks of em.
That's what made me cave and buy it (along with the system). |

It's V8. It's more important than any other gaming topic there is.
I'll work on the port thing, but I gotta turn on the old vpr matrix PC to log into my router and make the changes. |

Target was one of the three stores I tried... Right now I can either get the collector's edition (screw that), or drive out to the east side where best buy has it in stock (fuck that). It's bound to be at one of the west side stores in the next day or so...
West Side!
VPR? Wow, that thing still lives? |

I was reminded of something in the 8 years (seriously? wow...) since I last played a Street Fighter: I suck.
My usual Bison is failing me, and I can't beat the damn game on normal! That second round vs. Seth where he goes ape shit is quite frustrating.
And now my left thumb is sore... |

I got the secret characters that I have by turning the difficulty to Easiest and making the matches 1 round lol
Then Seth only starts going nuts when his energy bar gets low |

FUCK YOU SETH! DO YOU HEAR ME! FUCK! YOU!
Seriously hate that guy. But I did manage to finally beat the fucker. I did change it to 1 round matches, but on normal Seth still goes ape for the most of the match then. At least I got to skip the "easy" part each time.
How did I beat him? I resorted to an age old SF2 trick: Blanka. It amazes me how stupid the CPU is for his electric charge move... took me just 3 tries of wailing on light punch to beat him. After 20 failures as Bison... it seemed every time the alarms went off, Seth pulled out his "you're dead now" card. Up yours Seth! |
