So Quakelive is like Quake 3 only its all running through the web browser. Plays the same and looks the same. Anyways i'm a beta tester and was wondering if anyone here was as well. Its like the Dreamcast all over again.

Sweet, this rocks... wait, what's this? QUAKE LIVE will return shortly? Bah!
Well, when (if) it comes back up I'll try it out. Q3A is a frickin' classic. Best online DC game to this very day.

I tried to play tonight... got in after waiting in a queue 20 minutes. Played a ranking match against the CPU. And then it said I had to do it again. WTF? Sigh... So I did it again (I won again, but again just barely... hey it's been a long time!) And then what? It still wouldn't let me continue on!
Sigh, I'll try again maybe tomorrow or in a few days when they fix that... the game otherwise looks really cool. Good old Q3A. Though looking at the options it looks like a couple weapons were added... a nail gun ala the original Quake? |
