Well first, with the site down for a bit while it evolved along with me purposly holding off a few things before this event, I had a bunch of stuff right off the bat for Evo. Since then I have gotten a few things here and there that has kept something in the in-box at all times. Most have been reviews (we need some more "article" types again.. coughcornercough:). Right now I have 2 reviews waiting (an XB and a GBA one) along with a Profile (maybe, Omni's profile was just added with no news item). Plus I also have a fan art I'm not sure when/how to add. Things will come, just posting cause this board looked bored.
I only post stuff at max everyother day, the site doesn't get enough traffic (~25 unique visitors/day) to justify any more then that (heck, that's pushin it). At least it's there. Our friends at Cube-Europe were surprised the site was even still around...
Other notes... Currently I use DigitalRice to remote host a few things for Evo (like Fan Art) becuase we only get 15megs at NiceWebs, but now that DR is only 5 megs and that's full, I need somewhere else I can remote host/load pictures... By now I think everything from v.5 is on Evo except for various old news items, console pages (like specs), and NB history stuff (including past logos, flash, ect)... On this, some stuff I ported over I cringed at how we ever posted it in the first place (not cause it was offensive, but it was just bad). Maybe should just remove this crap.
Even though I'd say 1 out of 1000 people will bother to look in here, maybe I'll post more site related stuff in here just so I can say it was posted:) |

Ok, well, all your fanart has been deleted. I added poisoncow's art to help replease the 5 we just lost:) I also added it as the one shown on the Guild page. Seems a good way to show off new artworks.
I could also change the "Current Profile" as a way to list new ones (they really don't need news headlines). I could change it to something on Omni, then a bit later could change to something from klam's (which in the meantime I could just add that to that section).
And maybe slowly I'll go through old crap and remove it. If you see anything... I could also just move it to like an Archive section so it's there but not where it will be seen...hehe.
Side Note: After the first weekend of Evo, I was shocked to see the site's expected data trasfer for the month (feb) to be over 850megs (ie 85%). Well for whatever reasons, it has drastically dropped to below the 30% mark. Some may be due to caching, but we got a lot more hits then usual that weekend from people wanting to see Evo.
