The CD itself is pretty cool. The included book even has a recipe for risotto, and a reminder the CD is available for free on their website:)
If they ever get Get Warmer in again I'll have to grab that because that song 'I don't love you anymore' is awesome.
I need to find more bands to claim are the last great something-or-other and be told how wrong I am... |

| Get Warmer and Scrambles were distributed through Asian Man so there's a good chance you'll be able to find it at an indie store. |

I checked the 3 indie stores I know of... no luck:(
On a non-related topic, and directed at no one really but myself, is the new Alkaline Trio really not worth checking out? The title track and especially the associated video of this Addition aren't encouraging... and I liked Agony & Irony. |

| it sucks. the b-sides are really good though. so if you can track those down, give 'em a listen. danny's songs are worth hearing, but there's only three of them on the album proper. |

| I should finally have my package of the new Motion City, Alkaline Trio, and Tony Sly some time this week. Possibly tomorrow. |

And well, you said you didn't like the new Vampire Weekend either...
I need to order a package of CDs... I need to find a CD that costs at least $11 on Amazon... Hmm. |

Done.
I figured what the hell. AV Club gave it an A... I ordered that and Get Warmer. I couldn't find it at any record store, and when I emailed Asian Boy they said they currently had no plans for another pressing. So I figured might as well grab it off Amazon... where I wanted to spend at least $25 for free shipping:) |

future of the left's parent band, mclusky, ruled so hard.
they were asked to play on some british teen music show for some reason, to an audience comprised predominantly of young girls. this is how that went down.

Who booked that? Were they fired? We take more drugs than a funk band? Nice.
I did like Throwing Bricks. Must wait for CD for more... That will hold me until Gorillaz, Ted Leo, and maybe the Drive By Truckers hit in March.
New favorite BtMI! song: Even Winning Feels Bad |

| the new pornographers' new single is up on pitchfork. i don't have the link available, but its promising. sounds like something off of mass romantic sans a little bit of youthful spunk. |

That's what Google is for... though normally I hate pitchfork and their Chicago ways.
Your Hands Together. Is that Case? Good to see she hasn't outgrown NP. Good track. I also saw Broken Social Scene had a track listed. Also decent. Throw in Tokyo Police Club and May should be a good month, at least for Canada. |

| Man... I feel the need to go out and beat the shit out of someone for some reason. That or I've been listening to Future of the Left too much tonight. Worse, I realize this is who I missed seeing last fall. I was going to see them (well, specifically You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead) and I didn't go. Fuck. |
