What's the deal with the new look for Adult Swim? A black screen with white text is supposed to be funny? I don't like reading unless assigned as homework.

I always liked the old safty poster style lead-ins. Though I guess one plus is this new style changes all the time. Yet it also means no previews of tomorrows show. Adult Swim is really losing it's edge.

How about option 4 entitled: Im out of fuckin college so I dont get no goddamned good channels goddamnit. 75% of my TV watching was Adult Swim. The rest was 24, Simpsons + Malcolm on Sundays, Chappel Show, Friends , John Doe, and sometimes Conan. Now what do I watch? Seinfeld and Simpsons reruns while I eat dinner and SNL reruns while I eat lunch. Maybe I should regularly watch the Daily Show, it is pretty damned funny...Yeah so Im kinda pissed.

After further review, I do like this new style. Though they are already recycling some of the things they say, not a good sign. One thing they said did make sense to me. Don't like to read? Well just enjoy the nice beats they play in the background instead then.

I still miss the "Hey kids! Get out of the pool! Adult Swim." So maybe if they could start with that and then follow with the new style it would be a good compromise.

Adult Swim's opening "cards" (as they call them) are getting wierder and wierder. I'm gonna have to start hitting the bong just to understand that shit.

The new cartoon tonight (Venture Bros) that might be a future series (I guess), had it's moments, but the best part was the opeing homage to The Goonies. Otherwise it scared me.

And what's the fucken deal with taking Futurama off the plate? All this week in its place is Home Movies? WTF? I guess there isn't enough eps and they ran through all they bought at least twice already (but Home Movies probably has less), but at least show it a few times a week. Maybe it will be back next week already. Grrr.

You didn't miss that much. You know the opening for Goonies where it zooms out from the skull to show the word "Goonies"? Well that's what the shows intro does too, except it doesnt say Goonies of course.
