What games for 2003 are you looking forward to?

The line-up for 2003 seems solid, even if lacking the big blockbusters (at least so far). Here is what is catching my eye so far (only includes games coming out THIS year):


GC: Mario Kart Double Dash, Viewful Joe
PS2: Castlevania: LoI, Legacy of Kain: Defiance
Xbox: Ninja Gaiden, Crimson Skies
PC: Doom 3, Half-Life 2
Multi: StarCraft Ghost, Soul Calibur 2, SSX3, Sonic Heroes


The top games I want seem to both be on PC, hmm. Even if 2003 is lacking any real 'wow' factor, 2004 is sure shaping up to be quite a year...

XBox- Fable, Rallisport 2(not sure if this is 2003), NBA2K4, NHL2K4
GCN- Mario Kart, maybe
PC- Halo, Half-Life 2

Man, you're such an idiot. You didn't really think Fable would come out this year? Heh... I'm pretty sure it has already been confirmed to be delayed til 'Q1 2004' with Molyneux saying it will only come out when it's ready, period.

The changes/additions to SOCOM 2 do sound good. It might actually be fun this time around....

socom's already fun as hell if you don't suck. Although I wish more people online would use the voice chat for more than just saying 'damn that was weird how i died' or 'i shot him 40 times!'

I don't suck! Wait... yes. I barly played SOCOM so I shouldn't really say it wasn't 'fun'. Just that the new enhancements sound nice... XIII is also looking good, on PS2 or Xbox.

Multi: Soul Calibur 2, TMNT, Sonic Heroes, R: Racing Revolution, SSX 3, Starcraft Ghost

Pending: Mega Man: Network Transmission, P.N. 03, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Billy Hatcher, Pikmin 2, Futurama, Time Crisis 3, Tony Hawk's Underground

I honestly looked through the entire release list of games coming out on PS2 this year at IGN to reply to this thread. Still the count remains: 16 GC, 7 PS2, 8 I at least want to try. However if for some godforsaken reason the PS2 version of some multiplatform game is better than the GC one (like spy hunter and NFS) then I'll get that one instead.


And finally, I want Fable on Xbox, but who knows when that's coming out...
