Looks like the psycho-dad from the first few episodes comes back next wee. I knew he was comming back though, because in the first episode he was on the phone talking to someone and he said "Yeah, the show just started ten minutes ago, and I need to go do the most important thing ever. Yes I can finally type in this thread again. I didnt work today and actually saw it without taping it! Tonight was good. Numerous people died, there was a...lame last minute save...

The show actually seems to be picking up speed again after a few 'slow' episodes (by 24 standards).

I am disapointed though. I was starting to get used to 24 not having Kim in it.... sonova! And you knew he had to return. I mean we never heard what came of him... he just disappeared? Sure.... maybe we'll even find out the real reason he killed his wife was she found out what he was up to.


That or Tony did it. Man's got some guts not taking shit from that girl who tried to 'bribe' him. Maybe too much so... I kid.

Damn.... it's over, sniff. Cool colluseum scene. Not too many surprises though. Everything conviently falling into place, at just the right second. Only Mike got screwed over and was the fall guy. But then.... as usual it hits with a twist to lead into next season (well actually last season didn't lead into its sequal). Palmer dead? Link back to the past? What the hell is really going on here? All for some governement contract, cept someone even higher up shows himself?

Great season though. Well, up to the bomb exploding. It seemed to lose something after that point. Not that it was bad or boring or anything though. Maybe it was just so sweet and tense up to that part it just seemed weak (kinda like the second half of Full Metal Jacket). First time I recall anyone even mentioning sleep (what's that?).

Oh well, bring on 24 day 3... I wonder where it will pick up. Right where this left off so Jack never can sleep again? Palmer dead.. until taken to a better hospital where his staus is upgraded to alive?

1. Palmer isnt officially DEAD persay.

2. That bitch that infected him is the same lesbian motorcycle riding, ID stealing, plane exploding bitch from season 1! Damn.

I don't know... If it DOES pick up immediately after, I'd like to see Tony play the "badass" role. If only for a few eps, till Kim gets kidnapped AGAIN and Jack has to dole out some vigalante justice... BAUER style.

Anyway, I'm still not sure if Palmer is dead, becuase I can't think of a chemical liquid agent that would KILL someone 90 seconds after skin contact. It had to be a liquid too, because powder would be too self harmful.

Oh well, even if he is dead, he'll secure a spot in the history books next to the greatest American hero of all time... George Mason.

I think Mike's dismissal and Palmers chemical hand induced passing out means the creators are trying to stray away from white house characters this next season. Just a hunch though. It could be coincidence that plan C to take over America was just this handshake thing. Kinda makes you think the whole assasination attempt in Season 1 was pathetic.

There are two things that make me think MAYBE it will pick up right at 8am next year. One is that this season ended right in the middle of something and if next season takes place later on, they will have to do a recap or flash back to say what happened to Plamer. Kinda lame. Plus knowing Fox they will want some new gimick to push, and having two seasons over 48 hours would be that. But there are so many problems, including getting the main character some sleep, that it's still doubtful.

Next season they really need to find something better for Kim to do.....
