Hey, So did I but you don't hear me bragging... everyone knows Xbox is for losers. You know that saying about men who own big buildings? The same is true for Xbox owners....

From now on refer to Xbox as the Hbox. H as in Halo... If it wasn't for that and Sega throwing Xbox a few games since MS helped Sega out of their financial situation, Xbox would be the biggest piece of crap ever. I can't belive people had the guts to admit they even own a box made by the Devil himself. I hope selling your soul to spend Eternity in damnation was worth it to play Halo before everyone on PC can.

N) MS tried to buyout Nintendo to work on XBox instead of GC for $25 billion, but Nintendo didn't fall for it. Hence no reason to get an Xbox. Just need PS2 and GC....

My guess is that every major company got an offer from Mircosoft at one point or anther. And yes that definitely includes Sega, that's nothing new. But Nintendo kinda is, especially the details of the $25 billion (which even for MS is a shitload), that N considered it but they refused to drop GC and back Xbox 100%.....

Yah thank goodness. Now we got the lunch box known as GC. Atleast XBox DOES have a killer app like Halo. The same cannot be said about GC, even months after launch. Luigis Mansion is the closest thing seeing how SSBM is just a rehash of the N64 version. Resident Evil? 'Re-re-re-re-re-re-makes' dont count. Both systems are equally useable as paperweights imho.

I agree. Neither GC nor Xbox has been very impressive so far. Xbox has Halo but not much else. GC nothing close to that but has a hodgepod of good games like Pikmin/RL/SMB. All systems start slow, just GC decided to raise that slow bar (at least N64 had Mario 64).

Which is why big Xbox fans intrigue me. At least Nintendo fans can claim that in the past Nintendo has always come through with AAA franchise games. But what is Xbox's rallying cry at this point? "Halo rocks"?

It's all about this fall... that's when we will see what these systems can offer....

No thats bullshit the GC is better than Xbox, and we dont have to wait until next fall because when the EXCLUSIVES are here MSFT will have no answer,i mean what are they gonna do? unleash their Exclusive PC titles ? haha! Mechwarrior? lame Project ego? its a PC developer trying his hand at a console RPG,Morrowind? its no FF that's for sure, Xbox is gonna have games only PC gamers care to play, even the dreaded RTS genre is due to make an appearance on Xbox *ugh what an aweful genre! Next fall MSFT will be going up against veterans such as Starfox,Mario,Samus,Zelda and all the other lower profile (but still guaranteed to be good) titles such as Eternal Darkness and Perfect dark will their internal teams rise to such a task? cause most of their 3rd party @#%$ i can also get on my ps2 or GC. and i doubt Xbox exclusives can outdo the ones i listed here.. Xbox will prolly have another shitty E3 cause the majority of the ppl i talk to dont give a @#%$ about their exclusives..

I agree. Xbox is gonna have a hard time mathcing up to the likes of Mario & Zelda. But you never know what will happen... or who MSFT will pay off... That's why I said it's all about the fall... GC could crush Xbox if Nintendo plays it right. But Xbox could pull ahead especially if any of these Rare rumors are true.

And what's this about RTS games suck? StarCraft, WarCraft, Total Annihilation are some of the best games out there. Sure like all genres there is a lot of crap, but at the top are some great ones.

RTS games do suck..if youre a guy who grew up on console games like myself and believe that the purists way to play videogames is with your thumbs not your fingertips (ie a control pad not a keyboard), RTS is just too technical and resourse management heavy for my tastes,give me an arcadey shooter,platformer,or turn based RPG anyday! the closest ill get to an RTS is advance wars on my GBA, or FF tactics back in the day..ahhh..so much easier on a console..
