Yes a good part of RE's difficulty is ammo conservation, but that's part of what makes RE what it is. If don't like that, eh. Just you can't say it's not difficult because of that... That is unless you're a "Hiker" of course....

And like most people say? Who says this, you? Just get off this RE bashing because it's not coming to your precious Xbox...

The ammo shortage is not part of the games difficulty. Its artificial challenge. Aside from that, RE games are a breeze. You're telling me you actually have trouble getting through the games?

Are RE's 'that' hard? No, but they arn't a 'breeze' either. Most games out there are far easier then RE's. Also, you can't separate the game's ammo issue from it's challenge level. They go hand in hand. It's part of the game. Have you played a RE without using some cheat for infinite ammo? Maybe it's just I play on the 'Normal' difficulty... I'm no bloody hiker, I like mountain climbing... That and the GC RE definitely has a higher difficulty level then the original....

I'm not saying it is the easiest franchise around. Agreed many are easier. The alligator scene in RE2 was not very easy. But one part does not make for a hard game. The games are more tedious than difficult imho. You want a difficult survival "horror" game, get Onimusha. Now thats some hard @#%$. Silent Hill aint no walk in the park either.

Still havent gotten RE, ive spent almost 1000 bucks alone this month on @#%$ prom GRRRRr. I did however manage to get a stolen rallisport challenge, sweet @#%$ rally game. Better than Sega Rally I must say. Althought it rips SR off and adds a ton more levels and cars and tthrows in Beautiful graphics. PLus car damage SR fans should check this one out.
