Launch Game Updates Galore! What are you getting?

Well according to EBworld.com, 4 more games are going to make the GC launch (that's the 11/18 launch): XG3, Dave Mirra 2, Crazy Taxi, and Tarzan. However, they also still list Batman for a 11/20 ship date even though most sites have said it will be at launch. So we'll see since this leaves only 7 or 8 games the rest of the year. Also, Cel Damage was given a ship date now of 12/19... it's gonna be close for a christmas release:) Gampro gave Cel Damage for Xbox a 4.5/5. :)

Ya know the x-box's launch isn't as good as most people think. Sure title's like Halo and Gotham raceing'll kick ass but theres only 3 games i'd buy and about 2 more i'd rent. while all the GC games i see i'd want to own.................ima get a ps2 also....

Well I should of put this in GD Daily but apparently i get my news from the wrong source. I tend to not include too many updates on release lists from planetgamecube because they arent exactly reliable..thanks for finding that bone. I still want the same 4 launch games though: waverace, rogue leader (already have it), tony hawk 3, and well luigi

i wouldnt get all of GC launch titles or xbox for that fact. They almost all suck with the exception of

Wave race
Rogue Leader
Halo
DOA3
madden 2002- for both systems

Well, I'd say for the most part nothing on either console at launch *impresses* me that much (Im not gonna go as far as to say they suck cause that isnt quite true). And I'd refine that game list to:

Rogue Leader GC
Monkey Ball GC
Tony Hawk 3 GC
Halo XB (the best launch game of either)
Madden GC/XB

So in short it really is a matter of taste. I think you have to include Tony 3 even if it will be on all consoles (you included Madden). And IMO Monkey Ball is cool, and IMO DoA3 isn't all that great, just looks nice.

ummm whatever dudes... we like xbox cause the games intrest us more... if project gotham racing and DOA3 were on GC im sure you'd all love it, and you cant deny it...

just for the record, i plan on getting both.. and im not biased, i like video games.

I played MSR on DC and didn't like it. DOA3? Well it would be cool to have, but I have played it and it's nothing spectacular. I think I'd be more impressed if it was Soul Calibur 2 or MvC3... <phew thank goodness he didnt mention Halo...>
